The Second International Symposium on Global Drug Policy: Vienna 2004

On the occasion of the United Nations 47th Session of the Commission on Narcotic Drugs, the Senlis Council held the Vienna International Symposium: Governance, Transparency and Drug Policy. As a high-level panel dialogue on drug policy governance, the Vienna Symposium gave the opportunity for senior officials from around the world to discuss new orientations towards an effective drug policy framework.

The international panel was divided into two themes: Regional and Global Perspectives.
